Gravity Crash PS3 is 5 years old today!!

It was on Tuesday November 24th 2009 that we released the original Gravity Crash PS3 and what a journey it’s been since then!

We’ve released a total of 3 version of Gravity Crash… The PS3 original, then Gravity Crash Portable on PSP, followed this year by Gravity Crash Ultra on PS Vita.

We started working on Gravity Crash in August 2008 on the PS3, we spent 3-4 months in a pre-production phase with SCEE’s XDev team in Liverpool, and during that time we hammered back and forth various visual styles and HUD layout options. It didn’t stop there, we continued that process through full Production which started in Feb 2009. There were only a hand full of us that worked on the game, they are …

Stewart Gilray – CEO of JAW

Dave Parsons – Designer/Programmer/Creator of the original

Paul Sinnett – Programmer

Paul Carter – PSP Version

Dugan Jackson – Artist/Level Designer/Designer

Tim Wright aka CoLDSToRAGE – Audio/Music

All but Stewart moved onto pastures new after the PS3/PSP versions shipped in 2009/2010. Since then it’s been a bit of a whirlwind. Since then we’ve worked on the following titles too…

Oddworld: The Oddboxx

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath PC

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD – PS3/VITA & PC

Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee HD – PS3/VITA (Coming soon)

Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty – PS4, with other platforms to follow soon.

So we’ve been busy over the past 5-6 years, and it’s not going slow down any time soon with new projects in development, as well as supporting Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty .
