Steven Caslin - CTO
Starting way back in 1988 (yes really!) in the 8-bit days, Steve has been doubling his bits ever since. He got his big break working for Realtime Games Software just when they were working on Carrier Command. Accolades include Battle Command for ST & Amiga, Powermonger, Syndicate, Cannon Fodder on SNES, Battlefield 2 PS2 and XBOX and Stranger’s Wrath HD. Whilst Head Programmer at Runecraft in 2001, he met Stewart. Steve joined Stewart at JAW back in May 2009 and became CTO in March 2011. Having been through all the console wars, he's the go-to guy for technical advice... the man prefers to "write in assembly like in the good old days of 8/16 bit".

Stewart Gilray - CEO
Stewart has been in the games industry since the 8bit days, and has worked on over 60 titles over the years making him the office old dude. Good job, as he runs the company! When not pretending to be clever 'n' … stuff, he spends his time lounging on beaches and playing concerts as the guitarist for RUSH. It's also a little known fact that Chewbacca got his thang from Stewart.

Craig Spiers - Producer
Craig has been in the games industry for over six years, starting from temporary contract QA and working up to Producer for JAW. He keeps the team on a tight schedule, the workload streamlined, manages outsourced work and makes sure all assets, storyboards and scripts continue flowing from the mines under Mount Creativity. Craig uses his death stare to keep the wild JAW artists at bay.

Pete Memmott - Programmer
Like a grizzled 'Nam vet, Pete's 15 years in the industry still hasn't given him the 1000 yard stare. He cites working on Juiced 1 & 2 as one of his accolades but we hope he'll be remembered for almost single-handedly porting Stranger’s Wrath HD to the Vita. Pete's one of the programmers working on all aspects of game code. He spends too much time visiting the Lake District and listens to Prog Rock. Sometimes even at the same time.

John Gray - Programmer
Resident programming expert (Microwaves, VCRs, Thermostats, you name it). Originally from Glasgow and with a background in Chemistry, he left that field to become a Code Chemist in the games industry. Currently engaged in creating New ‘n’ Tasty (despite being the worst Abe’s Oddysee player in recorded history) and making fleeting appearances on the Oddworld forums (MunchFan2012 anyone?). Also thinks he is a wolf. Seriously, he will bite anything that comes within range of his mouth.
|
Liam Jones - Game Designer
After being told by his mother that playing games would get him nowhere, Liam resolved to spend as much of his time around games as possible. Somewhere along the way he found that designing games was the most fun so he did that. Tends to work in all aspects of game design, dabbles in programming, texturing, and 3D modelling. Secretly hopes Dan is actually ninja.

Tom Bramall - Character Artist
Baron of lewd jokes and inappropriate remarks, Tom was halfway through his final year at Sheffield Hallam University when he was offered a job. He ended up getting top marks in his Masters degree without even trying, which makes him think he's better than everyone else (note: everyone else lets him think he is). Tom now makes "the pretties", but has a polygon addiction and will often be told to reduce the polycount. Avid lover of FPS's, bass drops, and the colour Black.

Brett Lewis - Environment Artist
The first of many Derby Uni graduates at JAW, Brett does environment art, responsible for creating the level art and putting it all together. Brett says he likes pretty art things, e-numbers and penguins. Brett isn't as big an Oddworld fan as Wil, but comes pretty close.
|
Colin Stewart - Environment Artist
One of the environment artists at JAW, Colin used to work in retail, factories, call centres and pubs and now has a job where the public doesn't need to deal with him. He claims he looks after blind people in his spare time but no one's ever seen it.
|
Laura Dawes - Environment Artist
After completing her studies in physics at Oxford university, Laura decided that making pretty artwork for games would be much more fun than sitting in a lab. She has been an environment artist for the past seven years, previously working at Rebellion. Laura loves playing video games, board games, and enjoys playing in Magic: The Gathering tournaments. She also beats us all at Bomberman, even though she's only played a few times.
|
Maya Oruba - General Artist
Born on the wrong planet, Maya is a scifi and gadget loving geek. She loves Gollum and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Fresh out of Leeds Met, she hit the ground running as a general 3D artist specialising in character animation. Basically, Maya does everything Tom can’t be bothered to do. She's a workaholic addicted to Redbull, an insomniac and still believes she has undiscovered super powers.
|
Stephen Dalzell - Environment Artist
Honing his skills Derby Uni and Escape studios in London, Stephen has worked at Rare LTD, Ideaworks 3d and Zootfly. As relatively new addition to the environment artist team, he helps create textures, assets, tweak lighting and populate scenes. Any disadvantage of being the newbie is easily made up for with age and wisdom.
|
Wil Bunce-Edwards - Studio Coordinator
After more than ten years of activity in the fan community, Wil was snatched to become the full-time in-house Oddworld know-it-all, maintaining the official archives and keeping the office safe and stocked for those delicate developers. His favourite animal is the flying starfish.
|
Daniel Morse - Community & PR Manager
Having escaped the evil clutches of Civil Service digital comms, Dan is the ears and voice of the company, keeping a close relationship with fans and journalists around the world. He loves Techno and movie soundtracks. Fun fact: Dan is not a ninja.
